Introduction

This guide describes the library (and other) resources available to MCC faculty who teach online courses. The guide is divided into the following sections:

1. Remote resources-Library resources available remotely (electronic books, electronic journals, databases)

2. Online Library instruction-library instruction for your online course.

3. Integrating the library into your course management system (i.e. WebCT)-how to create persistent links in your course site to e journals, e books, and databases.

4. Other MCC resources-MCC and district resources for online instructors.

5. Annotated Bibliography-links to articles of interest to those engaged in distance learning.
